Pont de la Concorde Paris (9" x 12 ")

Pale pastel colors define the Pont de la Concorde, the bridge that links to the Assemblee’ Nationale and the Place de la Concorde.

This is a painting which will grace any room and wall.  We love the luminosity of this excellent work: the contrast of the pale greens and blues of the water contrasted with the white/beige bridge.  The special touch is the freight boat crossing under the arches, just off center, but a focal point.  Subtle additions are the pale lamp posts and people crossing the bridge. Dating from the 1940’s, this original will look beautiful on its own or as a montage.

We have carefully double matted it in pale white – it only needs to slip into a frame. Carefully double matted with a generous border which shows off the painting to their fullest.
