Printemps dans Un Village (8.5" x 6.25")

Beautifully crafted pastel painting of a scene in a French village. The stone bridge marks the center of this lovely painting, in warm browns.  The surrounding trees are painted in beautiful, soft greens layered colors of moss greens to pale lime and blue/green tones.  In the background are Haussmanian apartments with the rounded dome of a cathedral in the background. We love this painting either  displayed on its own or as a series together.

We have carefully double matted it in pale white – it only needs to slip into a frame. Carefully double matted with a generous border which shows off the painting to their fullest.

Condition: some subtle marks on the painting. Overall very good condition.
