This enchanting watercolor captures the inspiration of Maurice Fallies. Walking along the Left Bank near St. Michel, a soft day reflected in the beige and gray tones of the quais and buildings. The Louvre stands in all its glory across the river and Notre Dame in the distance, you see the famous spire of Notre Dame. To your right, a 1700s building in pale rust and pink tones stands out against the beautiful pale background.
