Original French Watercolor (9" x 14.5")

An original French watercolor by an artist whose signature appears on the lower left of the painting. Probably painted in the 1990’s, we love the way the colors blend to emit such a wonderful wintery feel!  The artist talent is clear, from their painting of gray clouds that gather over a scene of a village next to a river.  The roofs and dome of the church are beautiful and soft in the distance.  The almost-winter trees define the geometry of the scene and they help guide your eye thru the dark autumn foliage to the beautiful belltower of the Church. It’s a beautiful accent for a shelf or a wall.

We have carefully double matted it in pale white – it only needs to slip into a frame. Carefully double matted with a generous border which shows off the painting to their fullest.
