L ’entrée de la Place des Vosges (9" x 12")

Ancient buildings dating from the 1500’s and 1600’s are expertly painted in impressionist style; the colors are beiges and grays – which is what your eyes remember.  The blue sky adds a luminosity to this work of art, making the buildings bright and lovely.  This is a scene of Paris from the 1600’s!

We have carefully double matted it in pale white – it only needs to slip into a frame. Carefully double matted with a generous border which shows off the painting to their fullest.
