The Pont Notre-Dame (11.75" x 8.50")

A joyful painting of The Pont Notre-Dame, the bridge that crosses the Seine and links the  the rive Droite with the quay on the rive Gauche of Left Bank. Notre Dame has pale beige/pink tones, your impression under a sunny day with blue skies. The skills of the shadowing along the bridge show this masterwork by post-Impressionist artist Fallies.  We especially love how the water seems to ripple thanks to the beautiful use of color and shadow – and how Paris opens up above it!

We have carefully double matted it in pale white – it only needs to slip into a frame. Carefully double matted with a generous border which shows off the painting to their fullest.
