Place de la Concorde (9.5" x 7.5")

Place de la Concorde and the entrance to the Tuilleries Gardens. One of the most Parisian of places in Paris.  Excellent style of this fresh, open painting.  Painted in 1962, notice the couples walking towards the gates, and the ground in beige/cream and pale pastel colors.  The skill of the painter is evident in the composition of the scene, with eyes moving to the statues of horses that create movement.  This painting will grace any wall and provide a sweet memory of Paris forever.   

We have carefully double matted it in pale white – it only needs to slip into a frame. Carefully double matted with a generous border which shows off the painting to their fullest.
